Beaks

Why are bird’s beaks so different? One trait of all birds is that they have a beak or bill. Beaks are like simple machines. They help make the work of cracking seeds and getting food easier. The type of beak gives a clue to what the bird eats. Students will be able to explore the various styles of bird beaks through hands-on experiments.
