Teddy Roosevelt: Father of Conservation

Learn about the history of conservation in America with Teddy Roosevelt! President Roosevelt will go through his life and explain how his childhood helped him create the conservation programs that are still in effect today. During the presentation, the students will have the opportunity to participate in a bird seed activity.

  • Bird seed

  • Organic peanut butter or Crisco

  • String

  • Popsicle Sticks

  • Paper Plates or something to catch mess

  • Toothpicks or Skewers (optional)
